I’m a functional health nurse, nutrition educator, and the owner and founder of Mana Functional Health. With 19 years of nursing experience, I have come to understand that metabolic health is truly the foundation of overall wellness. Metabolism is the engine that powers every single cell in your body, influencing everything from energy levels to hormone balance, weight management, and brain function. As women reach age 40 and beyond, shifts in hormones, insulin sensitivity, and muscle mass can make it harder to maintain stable blood sugar and a healthy metabolism, sometimes leading to the development of insulin resistance, prediabetes, or type II diabetes and symptoms that can impact every system of the body.
At Mana Functional Health, I use evidence-based strategies to help my patients to take control of their blood sugar. My mission is to empower women to take control of their metabolic health and to thrive in middle age and beyond.
